The house was imagined as a space of calm and balance, where architectural order and clarity create the right setting for relaxation and well-being.

From the entrance, the stairwell becomes the focal point of the home, a strong visual element that structures the space and offers a clear perspective on the interior volume. Straight lines, carefully controlled proportions, and natural light emphasize this element, turning vertical circulation into an architectural experience.

Building the staircase was also the greatest challenge of the project, being both the first element perceived upon entering the home and, at the same time, the most complex from a technical standpoint.

The starting point was the development of an atypical construction detail, in which the tread and the riser are no longer treated as separate elements but as a unified whole. The riser is conceived as a continuation of the tread, allowing lighting to be integrated underneath and creating a visual effect of levitation.

At the same time, the use of wood and natural stone added a further layer of complexity, each material requiring different mounting solutions and behaving differently over time. The entire process was supported by careful coordination between teams and continuous on-site adjustments, in order to turn an ambitious concept into a coherent and durable result.

To meet the need for openness, a subtle reconfiguration was carried out, allowing the kitchen to communicate with the living area while maintaining a delicate separation through glass panels. This solution ensures visual continuity and light without compromising the functionality of each space.

The bathrooms complete the overall concept through a careful approach to materials and light, adding depth and refinement to the interior.

The entire Between Lines project is defined by balance, simplicity, and a calm elegance, offering a space where life slows down and settles naturally between clear lines.
